I am a photographer living in Cambridge, England. I have been a photographer for over 10 years, having been drawn into the art by my love of portraits and the challenge of capturing a person in a single image. It is this challenge that still inspires me to this day. My work centres on the belief that photographs have a powerful ability to capture a moment in time and retell our most valuable and significant stories. 

FAQ

Where are you based and do you travel? I’m based in Cambridge, England, but travel often. I’ve shot weddings and portraits all over the country.

What is your shooting style? With both weddings and portraits, I want to create the most natural environment possible. I will give you cues and direction at points and photograph what happens naturally as you respond and react to me, to each other and to your environment. I try to make every shoot fun and relaxing so that you are at ease and spend much of the time smiling & laughing. 

Do you journal all your shoots? I don’t blog every single shoot because I simply don’t have enough time to do that! I shoot a lot more than I journal. 

Do you use a second shooter? I am really lucky to work with some amazing people who are dedicated to the craft and passionate about what they do. One of the second shooters I work with will be present at wedding ceremonies and specific shoots subject to their availability.

Do you use back ups? I always bring backup gear and your photos are backed up and stored immediately after the wedding/shoot. 

When will we receive the images? For weddings, images will be delivered within 6 weeks. For portrait sessions, images will be delivered within 4 weeks. Faster turnarounds are possible for some portrait sessions on request. Images are delivered via a secure online album. 

What are your rates?  Weddings start at £1750 + travel expenses. Portrait sessions are start at £250 whilst events are charged at £95 an hour and may incur an additional travel expenses. Rates for whole day events are available upon request.
